Road Trip Day 3 - Montana to British Columbia

Once again, we were on the road by 6:00 am. We drove through some incredible scenery today – Kalispell, Flathead Lake, and Whitefish. You could even see the ski runs on Big Mountain outside of Whitefish. It’s part of the country that originally inspired Barron and I to become more active outdoors and eventually to take a trip to Alaska.

We made it to the Canadian border just a little after four. It took about 20 minutes to get through, and it was a breeze. We made it to our cabin by five. It was great to have a relaxing evening, not getting in late, and even having time to take a brief walk on a trail at the back of the property. We also enjoyed some time outside with cocktails and cigars.
