King Salmon Fishing on Kasilof River

Thursday, July 27th

I figured catching a couple of big King Salmon was a good excuse for my first blog post.  Dean and I took a break from unpacking and spent a day on the Kasilof River fishing for King Salmon.  The weather was great and the fish were biting.  There's nothing like hauling in a 40 lb salmon.

Mmmmm... grilled salmon straight from the river, Makers 46 bourbon, fire pit and stogies... not bad.  Dang, no photo of the stogies.
